Ominous was formed in 2009 in Tampere Finland. The founding members include ex-members from bands such as Behexen and Urn.
From the start Ominous has been anxious to play pure uncompromising black metal. To spice things up by taking elements from both death and thrash metal, the band plays what one would call destructive black metal.
